Funny Findings of 2012

2012 is almost in the books. Before we close out this year, I want to show you a few things that made me smile.

While we were in Utah this summer visiting family, Matt and I had thought this marketing plan was genius. Wedding stores and scary clowns seem like such a good match. Right?

Were you glued to the Olympics this year? We were! And we always enjoy watching swimming. We took a picture of the TV screen during this shot, because our male/female take on this scene was a little too stereo-typically aligned.

Wife (me): That is so sweet that all of those people got together to watch Allison swim.
Husband (Matt): Why didn’t anyone think to enlarge the projector screen?

For most of this past summer, I was very pregnancy-sick. Sometimes while I was ‘resting’, my children would take my iPhone for a while and I’d only know it by the pictures I found later. I really like this statue of pb & honey ingredients. What artistry!

This just makes me smile. This insta-step-stool is second nature to Matt, because it is very rare this girl is tall enough to see over any counter or really surface in general.

We were enjoying a nice dinner out until we noticed this spider. On the other side of the glass or not, there was absolutely no eating after noticing. We are a bit sensitive to spiders around here. (Arachnophobia is real thing and I’m not the only one afflicted.) Yep, the whole restaurant probably knew by the time we left.

Matt likes to search real estate listings in his spare time. One of his hobbies is hunting for the perfect investment property. This picture was a part of the picture gallery of a home for sale. We have no idea why the homeowners or real estate agent thought it was a good idea to publish this picture with the toilet plunger and towel over the toilet. We see lots of “why would they do that?” pictures, but this is one of my favorites!

As you look back over the past year, I hope you will find lots of things to smile about too. I can’t wait to see what 2013 has in store. My personal goal is to laugh as much as I organize.

Happy New Year!
